Frank Sinatra - Love Is A Many-Splendored Thing
Sammy Fain & Paul Francis Webster. Oscar-winning song to the 1955 film by the same title, it was arranged by Nelson Riddle, recorded on January 28,1964 and included in the Reprise album "Frank Sinatra sings "Days of wine and roses", "Moon River" and other oscar-winners" (1964).
I posted also "SECRET LOVE" from the same album.
Love is a many-splendored thing
It's the April rose
that only grows in the early spring
Love is nature's way of giving
A reason to be living
A golden crown that makes a man a king
Love on a high and windy hill
In the morning mist two lovers kissed
and the world stood still
And your fingers touched my silent heart
and taught it how to sing
Yes, true love's a many-splendored thing.
Love, high on a windy hill
In the morning mist two lovers kissed
and the world stood still
Then your fingers touched my silent heart
and taught it how to sing
Yes, true love's a many-splendored thing.
